The Ohio State University
PhD Student
Hello! I'm a first year PhD student at The Ohio State University, having jumped right into the thick of the MVAPICH2 software after I graduated from Stony Brook University with my Master's degree. I started out in HPC in Fall 2020 with my studies and analysis of the Ookami cluster. I studied how different libraries and specifications behaved on it (OpenMP, OpenMPI, MVAPICH, etc.) alongside different applications. From there, I was able to delve further into how different compilers even influenced the behavior of applications (GNU, ARM, Cray, Fujitsu, Intel, etc.) on the cluster and on the Fugaku supercomputer. My end goal is to join the ranks of the faculty that have inspired, and continue to inspire, me to pursue a PhD in computer science so that I may inspire future students to do the same. Beyond HPC, my other research interests include computer architecture, file systems, compiler technologies, among other things.
